The
Fifth Estate is owned by a semi-retired couple who have resided
in the immediate area for many years. We love our little piece
of paradise and would enjoy sharing it with you.
The
site is quite private yet still part of the Gallagher Lake
summer community; sun-drenched yet shaded by weeping willow
and Garry oak; quiet, too, except for the chirp of evening
crickets. You will not feel at all crowded here, as we have
created a generous space for only one vacation unit.

Rental
information
The Fifth Estate would be most suitable for two non-smoking adults as a quiet
and relaxing haven while visiting the south Okanagan on perhaps a winetasting,
golfing or sightseeing adventure.
It is available for weekly rental from early April to mid-October. Daily
rates for 2008 vary from $119 to $159 depending on the season and length of stay.

We, the Fifth Estate owners, are open to a cottage exchange
proposal where visitors would provide an equivalent stay
in their vacation home. For example,
a couple from Australia or New Zealand might enjoy our Gallagher
Lake haven in late spring or early fall, and in return, make
their vacation cottage available to us in, say, January or
February. Please contact us if this idea is of interest
